Travelodge by Wyndham Lake Havasu offers a clean and comfortable stay with a friendly staff, particularly highlighted by Mike and Ophelia. While some rooms lack amenities like desks and chairs, the hotel's convenient location near the London Bridge and a good breakfast are significant positives. Recent renovations have improved the bathrooms, but noise concerns persist for some guests.
Super Clean Hotel. The Breakfast was Fantastic. It had a lot of breakfast choices that were delicious to eat. Great staff that helped us find activities to do around town. The location was near the London Bridge.
They've been renovating and the new bathrooms are nice. The location is normally very quiet unless you are on the side next to the tile and stone business and then they are waking you up at 6am. Breakfast is a nice gesture but . . . This was Desert Storm weekend and all the rooms in town were high priced and occupied. This place was no exception.
More stars! We would love to give more than five stars to this place. Mike at the front desk was the absolute nicest guy. I wish we had arrived earlier so that we could have spent more time talking with him. He knew so much about the area and was a great conversationalist. A super comfortable bed, great shower and a good breakfast in the morning. We would return here ?
We were in town for the Hot Rodz car show. Normally we would stay at the host hotel, but we were in town a couple weeks before the show and stopped in at this hotel. The front desk clerk was very friendly and upbeat. She gave us all the pertinent information for a reservation and we reserved the room that day. Pre check in was a breeze and when we arrived all we needed to do was pick up the key. We were given the first floor room we had requested (note there is no elevator) and were very close to the lobby and breakfast area. The room was great! Very clean and spacious. No desk or comfy chair, but a small table and two dining chairs which worked out well. The bathroom was wonderful. Best shower I’ve had in a while. The room was quiet, the staff was more than pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was standard fare. Eggs and sausage, cereal, oatmeal packets, good coffee, juices. Some yogurt and fruit would be nice, but it was adequate. I’m very happy we decided to stay here instead of the host hotel. Much better choice.
Great location, room was fine for what we needed (I had stayed there before), but Ophelia at the front desk was simply amazing. She was fun to talk to at the check-in and definitely made us feel welcome. The only reason I took the location down a star was because of what happened at breakfast the next morning. I walked to the lobby, said "good morning" to receptionist at the front desk and went to heat up my breakfast from the prior day that was in a typical "go box" from a restaurant. The receptionist walked up to me and stated, "Are you heating up my food?" I thought that perhaps she had some food sitting out and she thought I mistakenly heated it up if she left it around there or something. But I jokingly said, "No, that's my breakfast, but the pancakes were so good, I'll share them with you if you like." It wasn't until I sat down that I realized she actually came in there to ask me that, and then I was baffled as to how she could think that I had "her food". Did I sneak into the employee area, grab her Styrofoam container, speak to her and walk in and try to eat it? I was dressed pretty well (actually the best dressed person in the breakfast area) so it was quite baffling. I don't want to make another assumption (as only she knows right?) Overall, Ophelia was such a delight, that even her coworker could not spoil the great impression she made.
