I just happened to call with questions. I was basically insulted on the house i was inquiring about that we are buying as a possible rental. The lady was BEYOND disrespectful and RUDE. Her tone just angry. Note to company. You have no idea who is on the other line. Treat people with respect!!!!! No wonder your score is 4.1 on Google.

Booked a place with Destination Havasu through Airbnb and got a notice saying our reservation was canceled. Called Destination Havasu to see what was going on, and they said they had a "system malfunction" but it was still Booked for us in there system. Said they would email us a contract over to sign. Waited a week before contacting them again to say we haven't received the contract yet. Her response was, let me make sure nothing is going on with our "system ". A month later, the day before we where supposed to check in, she asked if we ever received the contract. Do to no contract we decided to go with something else. The communication is horrible with this company, and will never do business with them again. Beware of "SYSTEM MALFUNCTION "

Do not book a vacation rental through them. Had a house for memorial day weekend booked and paid in full since march. With only 1 week to go before our stay they cancel our reservation and tell us that there was a “system malfunction” and they didn’t have the price set to holiday weekend pricing. They had over a month to realize their “system malfunction” but instead cancel with 1 week notice for memorial weekend and there are no decent houses or hotels left to book. How is it that if we canceled a week ahead of time we would still have to pay 50% but they have no consequences. Very unprofessional. Don’t trust your trip with people who will cancel your booking when they find someone willing to pay more.

Looked at two different properties, spoke to several people with mixed results and no follow up. They want to charge a larger security deposit with no room for adjustment regardless of our credit scores 800+ we have plenty of money but it's more the principle of holding onto a larger deposit for no good reason. Applied for one of the properties and no follow up, seems poorly run.

When VRBO would not stand behind a rental in Lake Havasu, Destination Havasu stepped up and saved the rest of our vacation. What a great bunch of people to work with. I highly recommend this company for your vacation rental needs. Very personable and always available when you have questions.
